"Mini
Maestros has been holding classes at the Port Melbourne
hub for over 2 years. The venue is comfortable,
modern and easily accessible. We also appreciate
the simple and reliable booking process. Being
in the grounds of Port Melbourne Primary School
makes it convenient for parents to attend classes
with young children after school drop off time."

"We
held my daughter's 5th birthday party at the Hub
for around 20 children. The venue was excellent so
I would highly recommend it. We self catered and
found the facilities in the kitchen very useful for
heating the hot food and storing the cold food. We
set up a few of the tables and chairs with festive
table clothes and party decorations and balloons
to make it festive. The children loved playing both
inside and out and moving in and out through the
double doors. We had good weather but liked that
we could stay inside if we had needed to. We took
the option on the Toy Library hire toys package,
but owing to the good weather, we didn't need to
use them."

"Living
in the city of Port Phillip we are often very limited
on the size of our backyards that is what makes
the hub so perfect. No matter what the weather
is like you know you will be safe with the choice
of in or outdoor, the facility of the kitchen makes
warming up the party food very easy and the trestle
tables are perfect for the little ones to sit on.
After having had
both my children’s parties
there I found it to be such a pleasurable experience
for both children and adults. The kids were running
amuck on the outdoor equipment whiles the adults enjoyed
a drink in the sunshine. We hired a clown for children’s
entertainment which worked a treat. Your options are
endless in what you can do there. Both my children
have said that this was their best birthday ever. Thanks
to the Hub, I know that I have found the perfect venue
to cater for my children’s parties in the future."

“Best
spot for a kids party in Port Melbourne. You can
make it all your own, great space, play equipment,
kitchen and location. Our Mothers group Christmas
party was a huge success.”

Our kids both have their
birthdays at times when the weather is notoriously unreliable,
so we can’t plan to have their parties outdoors
and our house is getting too small as they get older.
We chose to have our daughter’s 4th birthday party
at the Hub, attracted by the combination of ample space
undercover and the playground equipment outside. We arranged
for Rachel from Little Feet Music to provide entertainment
for the kids, which they all loved. Having all the kitchen
equipment there made it so easy to prepare the food and
easy to clean up afterwards. The kids had a great time,
the parents were relaxed, and afterwards we went home
to a house that hadn’t been trashed. It was the
easiest birthday party we’ve had, so we’ll
definitely be using the Hub again.

| "We
have now used the Hub for two functions, one was
our daughters first birthday and the second was
our Christmas party. We chose this function centre
as it is clean and really child friendly. I love
the fact that the Hub provides chairs and trestle
tables and the kitchen area, making catering easy.
My daughter’s birthday is in August so the
weather is unpredictable. I really wanted to have a
large first birthday, but knew having a small Port
Melbourne home, we would not be able to accommodate
the numbers. The Hub can, and it provides indoor and
outdoor facilities. In addition to the Hubs
facilities I was also able to access to the Toy
Library's toys for a small fee. This was a hit as the
kids loved it. Not only did they have
space to play but the also had access to some fabulous
toys. Many friends raved about the venue. We
hired it again for our mothers groups Christmas
party. This time it was beautiful and sunny and
we were able to open up the doors and enjoy the
outdoor facilities as well. I would highly recommend using the Hub
for any function that you are thinking of having as
it is a perfect location for any event."

“We
use the Port Melbourne Primary School Hub for our Mothers
Group/Playgroup every Tuesday morning. It provides
us with a large room to play in using all our equipment
and this is especially great on rainy days. Having
a kitchen and toilets on site is very handy and the
use of the school’s playground in a fenced off
environment is fantastic. It also provides the
children with an insight in to life at school before
entering primary school. It is a valuable asset
for playgroups in the area."

"The
Hub was the perfect place for my son's 4th birthday party. With 25
4-year-olds and numerous siblings attending, there
was plenty of indoor space for food and games, and
having the kid-size tables and chairs provided was
a huge bonus. The big toys from the toy library were
also great fun for the kids. The enclosed outdoor area
also has great equipment, and parents could relax in
the knowledge that their kids couldn’t run
off. We also opened up the second outdoor playground,
which is also enclosed and was great for the older
kids as well. The window from the kitchen into the
main room was also very practical and helpful,
allowing me to heat up food and pass it through to
our guests. The Hub provides an excellent space and
equipment for a large group of kids, and
means you don't need to worry if it starts to rain!"

"We
use the Hub once a week for our mother’s group catch-ups. We have
7 children who are two years old and another 6 babies
so the hub provides a safe environment and we have access
to kitchen facilities, toilets and cupboard’s full
of toys to entertain the kids. The outside play equipments
is now fenced so we do not have to worry about the little
ones running away. A great place to catch up in summer
and winter."
